Design Doctors: TOTALLY DISHONEST, UNETHICAL

Buyer beware: Rhonda shipped me a Martha Stewart table about a month ago. I was replacing one damaged by a film crew and I told her clearly and specifically it had to be new and unopened and not in any way damaged or used in her staging business. She PROMISED me it was, and I have the emails to prove it. It came damaged, scratched, with leafs that didn't even fit, and with hardware clearly removed from the underside of the table! In other words, it had been opened, used, and abused. I sent it back and expected her to refund my Pay Pal account since she said it was her "last" table of that type that she had in stock. Imagine my surprise when she told me she had four more! She said she would ship another one right away. That was over a month ago. There have been no follow ups, no phone calls, and of course no table. Two weeks ago she said the delay was due to the "furniture show" in High Point, and promised the table would go out "right away." Again, a false promise; no table came and there was no followup. I emailed Rhonda two days ago and have had no response. Now I've told her to reply by tomorrow or to refund my Pay Pal account. I'll re-report tomorrow to let everyone know whether I have to escalate this further. There are other warnings about her on other sites...I should have heeded them. UPDATE: I gave Rhonda one last chance to make good on my table. She promised delivery by the end of February and lied again. Now I have to file with PayPal for my deposit to be returned. Do not believe anything this woman says. She has zero ethics and is a serial liar. Her BBB compaints (5!) attest to this. Ugh...frustrating...
